Ok got the update and they have added those settings in the overlay settings box but 4 more things for ya.
1: while in game and you open up your display config for the overlay you do not see those added settings.
2: if you hide the titlebar how do you get it back
3:when your display is set to full in game you can not see who is talking or who is muted it shows everyone as silent
4:no function to kick or ban someone while in game with the overlay like you can with the move people by dragging them

Post TS3 - DirectX overlay plugin vs 1.2 error

Since the client upgrade to version 3.0.3 the plugin does not work correctly.

I can't see what the other user types, the bar is drawn, but can not see the text.

This happens in the game Killing Floor.
Tested on Windows XP and Windows 7 and the problem persists.

    Thanks

Our next client update will fix the problem.
Client 3.0.5 does use overlay version 3.3.5 and this plugin version offers soem more options, to change the background for chat and messages.

You can test our beta client here

When im in game and someone types a message and then the bar goes white and then i cant read it anymore...

Running 64 bit ts3, version 3.0.3. Gonna try it on 3.0.5 now

I dont know what to change in the settings if it can be fixed there. Im also not the only one in my clan who has this issue.

    --------merged--------

It was fixed in 3.0.5 so i would recommend updating to that if anyone is having issues with the overlay. or just download the overlay its self.

I guess i was a little late in making this post. Sry

A workaround (no guaranteethat it works):
Jump into your appdata folder "C:\Users\yourusernamehere\AppData\Roaming\ts3overlay" and open the config_user.ini
Add these lines on the top (when no [default] entry exists in your file)
Thank's for your answer, but the answer that you gave me was for operative system windows 7, but i have operative system xp could you help me.

This did not work. Please wait for client 3.0.5 or download the overlay update for yourself or trythe beta channel, as said in post #18
