How to find ip address of server? Bought from hoster.

    hi,

I rent a server from LeetTS.com, and there is somebody who is trying to connect to our server but it won't let him (he can connect to other servers though and everybody else can connect to our server), but I don't know how to find out the ip address of our server for him to try to connect that way.

    Thank you in advance

If under windows, just use this command from a command prompt:

    C:\>tracert <insert your TS server address here>

It will show you the IP on the top line of the results. Remember not to use the corner brackets, heh. So it becomes:

    C:\>tracert www.google.com (for example)

Have someone that is connected to the server right click their own name and select Client Connection Info. There you can see the Server IP and Port.

Pretty new to teamspeak, can't find server address

So yeah, i'm pretty new to teamspeak, and the answer is probably right infront of my face.

apologies if this isn't the right forum section also.

I recently bought a server from the Teamspeak website and downloaded the software. when I try to connect to a server it asks me for the server address, which I can't seem to find anywhere on my server information page.

Anyone willing to help me out please?

    Thanks

You need to ask your hoster for the address (you may read mails or their webinterface/website).
We can't help you here on forum.

TeamSpeak does not host any server for any costumer.
You can not rent / buy any server from our website and www.teamspeak.com is the only official website.

We only guide to registred hosters (http://hosting.teamspeakusa.com/).
