Question Need help setting up linux script for telnet

Hi, im trying to setup a script to where it will connect to the teamspeak server, login, and global messages at certain intervals. But I dont have a clue where to start. Basicly I want this script to do the following:

    1. Login with telnet to the teamspeak server
    2. Send a global message at certain intervals.
e.x. "Server will be restarted in 15 minutes."
"Server will be restarted in 10 minutes."
"Server will be restarted in 5 minutes."
"Server will be restarted in 1 minute."
    3. Properly shutdown the teamspeak server.
    4. Restart the main server

    Is this somewhat possible?

Thanks, after some more researching I figured out a way to do it but I do have one question is there a timeout set for the TS3 telnet session set?

    Yes, 5 minutes.

The trick is to send every about 5 minutes an empty update command :
    Code:
    clientupdate
