Without any information, we can only guess this is it.

What is your client version ?
What is your operating system ?
    What is your keyboard ?

Do you got something in your client log ?

If you try the Begin Test button (Settings > Options > Capture > Begin Test button) do you hear yourself ?

    Hello.

I've seen in your image a 'strange' key selected as PTT.
Have you try with a classic "AltGr" or "Alt" key as PTT?
Just for testing, try with another key. Sometimes changing the key assigned to PTT solves the issue. You can verify the result with the "Begin test" button.

    Greetings.

    Hello.

    Maybe the mic is ok.

    I've found this "old" post:
    http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...071#post276071
marked as resolved due the solution was included in the release.

It would be better an opinion of some expert or devs but meanwhile, you could try selecting "Direct sound" in the 'Capture Mode' combo box. If the issue continues, then try selecting exactly the capture device from the combo box instead of 'default'.

    Greetings.

Make sure you did not accidently press the Microphone Mute Button on your Headset (If it has a hardware button for this).

Unplug your Microphone, and plug it into the pink Mic In again. You should see a popup asking you which Device you plugged in. Choose Microphone. If you didn't see the popup update / install proper Sound Drivers.

In the Systray right click the speaker Icon select Recording Devices. You will see a new Window with a couple of Devices listed at least one of which should read Mic or Microphone with a few gray / green Bars at the right.
If not right click in the white area and enable both Show Disabled Devices and Show disconnected Devices.
If you have more than one Entry which fits scream (and yes I mean scream) into your Microphone and watch which entry changes the gray bars to green (or at least some of them). Select that one and hit Set Default and then Properties. On the Levels Tab set the first slider to the far right, and the lower one to +10.0 dB.

Hit OK and open TeamSpeak. Goto Settings, Options, Capture, Click Add and enter a name, make sure you have "Default Settings" chosen. On the left side select the Profile you just created. Capture Mode: best mode, Capture Device: whatever you found your Microphone to be in the previous step. (eg. "Mic in at rear panel (Pink) (Realtek High Definition Audio)").
Select Continuous Transmission and hit the Begin Test Button. You should see the huge Bar above the button have a new red/green Bar in it.
