    Solved Random Audio Distortion

    I registered my teamspeak 3 server for a non-profit license. Since I have registered the server, it has had intermittent audio issues where the voices get distorted. People will break up, and have a robotic sound. When it happens, it can go from one person speaking to another, so it is not an individual client. I had my provider (Bluehost) open up the extra port needed when the server was registered. I also checked with them to confirm that there are no hosting issues. I am running the most current version of the server, and I have had everyone update their client. The server is amd64 3.0.3. All channels are set up with ultra-wideband (32kHz) codec and quality is set at 7. There were never any issues before registering the server. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

    Does this still hapen, when your license file is not active?
    I can't imagine that the license itself cause the problems.

    Cpu Lag or Internet connection always do Please check your server logs.

    Within the server logs I found this error quite a bit:

    TS3ANetwork::Send failed error: 1

    After digging into the forums I found that ports 2008 and 2010 need to be open for TCP Inbound/Outbound. I only had 2008 open for TCP Outbound. I requested Bluehost to open the ports. If this doesn't fix it, I will remove the license and see if it is still having issues.

    I still think, the license itself isn't the problem.

    What does the connection information from your server and from target user says, when someoen is laggy?

    Since I had both ports opened, there haven't been any more issues. If it happens again I will try to get the connection info, but for now it seems opening the ports fixed it.
