    Hello

For the moment this has nothing to do this this permission.

The first question is, it's a rented Teamspeak server or you are the owner ?

Question Loss of Permissions Control by System Administrators

Our server, the "GaMountain Server", is experiencing the same problem. We have two System Admins which include myself. Neither I nor the SA at the server site have been able to restore our permisions authorizations. We still have the same permissions orginally granted, but the "Set Server Group" and "Set Channel Group" are grayed out and we cannot change them. Also when we attempt to access "Server Groups" from the "Permissions" menu, we get an audio message that says "Insufficient Permissions" and shows us a blank form like that below. Has anyone been able to resolve this problem yet?

Although I though your comment was a bit on the edgy side, I will reiterate what should have been apparent from the post, i.e., the server is on site at the GaMountain Site and is maintained by the System Administrator, William Mitchell, amateur radio operator, K1ZGB. I am alternate SA and located in Sebring, FL, amateur radio operator W1PI.

My question is: What does it matter where the server is? Why would it make any difference whether it was a rented site or an owned site? You might enlighten me on that. The point is that we cannot access our permissions and can this be fixed or will it be necessary to completely reinstall the software?

The comment was perfectly normal. You posted a reply that did not include information that needed to be there (see next point). He simply brought that to your attention.

Depending on who hosts the server it could be there is nothing that can be done by us. If you are renting a server from someone you generally have to contact them because this problem requires serverquery access. If you are hosting yourself then you obviously have that access and we can help.

Please don't assume that your intelligence is being insulted. Giving the benefit of the doubt can avoid embarrassment.

Now assuming that you have serverquery access see below excerpt from documentation.

Adding and Removing Clients to/from Groups
    ------------------------------------------

To add a client into a server or channel group you need a
i_group_member_add_power value that is greater or equal than the
i_group_needed_member_add_power of the specific group. Analogously you will
need a i_group_member_remove_power that is greater or equal to the
    i_group_needed_member_remove_power of the specific group.
Additionally for either removing or adding a client from or into a group your
i_client_permission_modify_power must be greater or equal to the clients
    i_client_needed_permission_modify power.
Easiest way to do this is thru phycokiller's webinterface but you can do it through serverquery (see documentation in server_root/doc)
