Database ID is an internal Value which makes life easier on the Database. This Id is (in my opinion) given way too much value to by way too many users.
It might also be distracting / confusing to new Users to see all those strange values ("What is that weird number doing behind my name here... I never did name myself like that.") which they have no use for.
You can just drag & drop Clients now... no need to enter anything.
PS: Wrong Forum Section.![]()
With every new UI change I find it harded and harder to administrate my servers.
First the database id next to nickname disappeared from the right-side area of main window.
Recently - UID disappeared too.
Trying to change someone's Client Permissions makes me find him in List Clients tool, and its not very easy to do, since some of those people dont back up their identities and i can find 10 of them in client list. Some of them use other identity on every computer so cant really choose depending on "last seen"
Is there any particular reason why these informations are being hid? Would be super-great to have them back - or if it's better this way - make an "Advanced View" checkbox in options.

I think that you should be able to hover over a user's name in the info pane and a tooltip will popup with additional infos.
However, here is something you will enjoy

Even feel free to try this out

Or even better yet: Drag them into the Permission Dialog from anywhere in the Client (old chat messages or the List all Clients Dialog to name two possibilities) and you can start adding / changing their Permissions. No need for copy stuff and then write it again![]()
I am not sure what update changed this but somewhere along the line this was lost. If your not sure what I am talking about here is an explanation.
In the right information panel where you would see client information when selected we would see the unique ID of that client. This no longer shows for me. Is this change no an option that I have to turn on?

Hover over the blue highlighted text field which will bring up a popup.
not sure what your talking about.
If I click on a client and look in the right panel for there info I do not see anything but the name, version, online since, server groups.
I always also had their unique ID show as well. This is no longer there.
I see no blue text or any text that will hover to a popup.
These Information got removed a few Versions ago...
There are several Addons available (2 to be exact) which will bring these Informations back for now. Check the Addons Page and you should find them.
Names of them?
I looked around but nothing stood out, there are so many addons to read to find what your referring to.
The package was updated for upcomming client 3.0.9
The "Server License Type" was added and is now shown.
