How to disable client join/disconnect sound

I have a AFK channel and would like to disable client join and disconnection sounds to only this channel. Is it possible?

If not is there another way to do it?

No, Sounds are a client side Setting, you cannot change it from the Server side.

Any chance the devs are looking into adding permissions for this issue?

This is no new request and was rejected before.
Sorry, but we won't buildsomething like an afk system (for channels) into the client.
