Solved Server Flag in Server Setup.

    Hi Teamspeak Developers,

    We got a suggestion

One of our customers commented that in his country flag appears server "Germany" instead of "Spain", we know this is because our servers are located in that country.

Would be great, that in the server.ini we could put the country, based on the characters defined in ISO 3166.

    For Example:
ServerFlag = Self / / Set flag with GeoIP server
ServerFlag = ES / / Set flag my server to Spain

    Thanks in Advance.

We wan't to show, the real location, where a server is hosted.
Please make sure ,that this server does use 3.0.5.

I can understand you want to show the real location of the server, but this is a problem when the server is hosted.
Those who consult the ServerList are looking for specifics servers, e.g. same language...
If I create a server in Spain, and it's host in Germany, nobody will find me by filters, so no one will search me in Germany.
Maybe,... a new column, indicating the server's origin, not the his host ...?

    Hello.

Maybe this option would be only available for ATHP (or certain license type)
    http://hosting.teamspeakusa.com/
Once you rent the slots, the ATHP could offer the flag for your server.

    Greetings.

Why rejected, maybe the feature is bad explained..

In each virtual server could be a feature config the official language of the virtual server.

[suggestion] edit virtual server country flag

    Hi TeamSpeak,

as far as i can see, you use third party service for ip location.
maybe you could add it on the misc tab on the edit virtual server.
    maybe like:
    Country [dropdown]
    Region [text]
    city [text]
so you wont need third party service..
or if you still want to use third party service, i suggest using maxmind's database

We already had such request already and we did discussed this.

We don't want that users are able to change that.
