Question File transfer connection timeout, upload working, but not download

    Hello,

We have some trouble with the file transfer, we can upload files, but we can't download them.

We have no quota error, the only error is "failed: file transfer connection timeout".

All ports are open, we have 5 TS3 daemon running on the same machine, listening on different ports : 30031, 30032, 30033, 30034 and 30035.

We made a server migration and updated our servers, and now we have this problem.

It's really werd because the upload is ok.

    Anyone have any idea ?

    Regards

Take a look at all firewall settings. The cause of your problem was a server migration, right? Then the solution is hidden somewhere in your new machine.

Hello, it's not a firewall issue.

Even if it is not the firewall, the cause of your problem seems to be the migration to a new server.
Even more strange is the fact that port 30033 allows incoming packets (from uploading files to your server) but blocks outgoing packets.
Did you check all server logs for anything that could be related to this issue? Please post them here surrounded "code" tags.

Ok. I can almost 100% assure you that if the upload works -> there is no problem which can be blamed on the teamspeak3 server.
Your next steps would be: start at your server machine and investigate in detail every piece of hard- and software and find out why outgoing packets on tcp connection port 30033 are blocked.

You can additionaly contact your hoster or maybe you will find another user who can give you a clue.

    Hello,

You were totally wrong, the problem was on the teamspeak3 server, there is a table with the Bandwidth Download limit, different with the same one about Upload limit.

The Download limit value was at 0, it was the problem.
