    How To Re-apply Grant Value

    Hello,

please read carefully, because people always jump to conclusions
i have read a number of forum posts and cant seem to find the answer

firstly i am running a server through game arena, now somehow the grant value has been removed on this permission:

    i_channel_needed_join_power

now as the grant power is removed for server admin, i cant get it back.
i have tried to use server query login on my own and it is insufficient permission and i have searched for the "serveradmin" query password but cannot seem to find it. i am always linked to how to find it for a local server or how to make my own login. but as my own login does not have enough permission to edit and it is not a local server.
we have contacted game arena and they linked us of how to create a client server query.

could someone help us to re-apply this permission?

This thread does answer the question.

    Just replace i_needed_modify_power_channel_modify_sortorder with i_needed_modify_power_channel_needed_join_power

    Code:
    servergroupaddperm sgid=6 permsid=i_needed_modify_power_channel_needed_join_power permvalue=75 permnegated=0 permskip=0

Your account (login) has not enough i_group_modify_power to add anything into the target group.
Please compare your permisions with i_group_needed_modify_power of that target group.

By the way, your server is rented. you need the serveradmin login and not your own login.

If you are talking about your main Server Admin server group, you may have broken it completely. Please refer to this post I made a few mins ago on some general tips to prevent you ever having issues such as this: http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...785#post323785

This has nothing to do with his problem. His server is rented and maybe the hoster tunred off that permission. It is not always user fault.

I know, I am talking about preventing issues like this because you have a backup group and identity you can use that still has all 75 access and everything. That way if you mess up permissions you can still always fix it using the unrestricted untainted admin server group and identity.

But you do not have access to all permission by default, whe nyou rent a server and people still come here to ask for permissions, even when their hoster have removed it.
