Is there a plugin that allows me to integrate a "bot" with a custom MySQL (or MsSQL). This database would be updated by a website that would then dictate what groups a person gets. It would also provide name security so that someone else cannot login with "your" username.
Any thoughts?

would need your own custom server query script that checks users names against your own database and kicks them if they have the "wrong" name. That same script would also do group assignments through server query.
