    Teamspeak and legal intercept?

According to Wikipedia TS3 is capable of lawful interception:

    Legal Intercept
TeamSpeak 2 lacks any form of Lawful interception. This may make the service unsuitable for some hosting providers, depending on local legal requirements.

Now I know that not all on Wikipedia is true, if not then this paragraph should be removed.
If it were true, what does Teamspeak say to this? Someone might consider blocking IPs from Teamspeak or specific countries.

I believe this means that the server host can intercept communications on servers (which is true if I remember correctly).

So this is not a functionality builtin the binary?

Which makes me wonder why this shouldn't work for ts2 servers aswell.

teamspeak 3 uses encryption so it would be difficult to decode the signal if there was not serverside functionality for it. i don't know much about ts2 at all so no idea about that bit.

Encryption is not on per default, even if, we can't be sure if there is a backdoor functionality builtin.
    TS2 protocol is reverse engeneered.
