The feature where other programs' volume gets reduced when people talk in teamspeak used to work when there was a plugin specifically for it. I stopped using teamspeak for a while, but now that I've started using it again, I updated and that plugin got removed. I did a little searching and apparently the built in Windows 7 communications settings are supposed to handle that now, but they aren't working. I've tried resetting them, but it makes no difference. I used to be able to watch the volume levels in the windows volume mixer go up and down when people talked, but they don't move, either. The only other thing I can think of that might make a difference is that I've turned off UAC during the period when I wasn't using teamspeak, but I'd really rather leave that off. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
