Error: Failed to connect to server - this one will be hard to solve

    Hello dear community.

Unfortunately, I have to ask for your help. First to say, I have read several threads using the search function - but none helped me really.

So I'm just gonna tell you what I can, hoping there is a genius out there being able to help me.

06.10.2012 10:57:15 ClientUI Info Failed to connect to server, want autoreconnect = 0

This happens at ANY server. I tried to connect about to 10 diffrent servers. At every server I know of people being online without problems.
Im using Windows Vista 64bit, Firewall turned off. Microsoft Security Essentials turned off. Last done Windwos Update at 10th September.
My router is called "Centrino Grande", my ISP is called "Swisscom" (Switzerlands biggest ISP).
Connecting the ISP Support didnt help, they told me they are not blocking any ports. I activated port forwarding for UDP/TCP: 8767,14534,51234,9987,10011,30033,8768,9987
    DynDNS is turned off.
    UPnP is turned on.
    DHCP is on
    Mumble, Vent is working fine.
Pinging Servers is ok, receiving what Ive sent.

Just to make sure: Im not understanding 50% of what Ive written there. I just wanted you to know every detail so you can provide the best help.

If Ive forgotten anything - please just ask.
    Any support welcome.

First at all: Port Forwarding is ONLY required when you have a TS3 server.

You are up-to-date in the client version, you resolve the IPs or you get ping from the addresses and the servers are working for other users but you can't connect to any server then there is something that is blocking the UDP traffic:

    1) may be in your PC --> If you can, try with another computer

    2) in your router --> It uses to be something the firewall options

    3) at the end, maybe is something related with the ISP

but, in case of residential users, sure is something is blocking or filtering the UDP traffic.

--> In this case, the issue was in the ethernet card

--> in this case it was in the HDMI

    Hello PotaBlava

You alredy helped me a lot. I tried to get TS3 working on my laptop.
It is using the same internet connection as on my PC - and its working at any server.

So there must be a problem on my PC itsself.

So, I know this isnt easy as you dont know my PC, but are there any typical problems?

Ill just list what might be of interest to know so you can see what could be the problem:

Few months ago an expert made my PC "new" through deinstalling all and getting Vista on it.
At "Programs and functions" I cant see any program which could block TS:

    Screenshot of Programs:
    http://postimage.org/image/g6sdcptwf/

All the firewall stuff is turned Off.
    MS Essentials is turned Off.
    Windows Defender is turned Off.

So.. since it must be on my PC - what the heck could be wrong???

Am I missing specific datas ts3 needs? Or where to start looking?

    Thx for your professional help.

Excuse me for my doppelpost - but this is worth it:

Thanks to PotoBlava I can finally use teamspeak 3. If you have a donation or hug-button - please tell me

I deinstalled "Killer Drive" - WHATEVER that was. And now its working fine.

Thank you very much, I have been trying for ages now and never thought there could be a mistake on my PC.
