    Question Non Profit License expiration issue?

    I have a NPL which has an end date of

    end date : Sat Oct 13 00:00:00 2012

    according to some forum threads, if the server was running during the last 30 days this license should automatically extend, but this did not seem to work. The strange thing is, that if I resend the license I get the same one again and it does not work:

    2012-10-13 08:56:41.964786|ERROR |Accounting | | License ID: 0 expired
    2012-10-13 08:56:41.964838|ERROR |ServerLibPriv | | Server() error while starting servermanager, error: license date not ok

    Requesting a new license also does not work as it's saying:

    * You have provided an invalid IP address. The IP address you provided is already being used by a licensed server. You MUST run your server on a unique IP address.

    Do you meet the updated requirements for an NPL like a top level domain and a [email protected] email adress? If not, this might be why your license has not been updated.

    Is this the reply from our sales team? This for my own knowledge only.

    Edit
    I have to tell you this won't work, because your file is compared with the license on the license server.
    The license will be rejected, if that file does not match with our license server.

    Please be patient and wait for a reply from our sales team.

    @Air SeaTac , you're right.

    I got this answer from TeamSpeakUSA:
    If your NPL does not renew itself then you will have to apply for a new NPL license. However, if you NPL renews itself then you will not have to apply for an NPL license.

    Well I know you don't want to hear my idea but the way i see it binding to a ip is not A good idea ,we change providers to often for it to work.Static ips change all the time i my self have had 3 vps in a year and this will only get worse .my idea would increase standard to 100 slots more than most users can use, and this will decrease the amount of npl needed ,,, most people just wont need one unless a big game server then only the bigger guys will need a npl in the first place ..less effort on your part less npls to worry about and most users can test servers at home as always .{need more than 32 to make two servers } problem solved love you all TS3Beta
