    That is a Windows error commonly indicating a DLL Initialization problem.

    Try sfc /scannow.
    Could also be that you are trying to use 32bit libraries with a 64bit application, or the other way around.

    Last time I checked I was writing english...

    Either way maybe some DLL that the client needs is only there in 32 bit edition, thus the 64bit client cannot load it and throws that error code, which does not come from the client but from windows.

    Uninstall the client completely (you may keep your configuration settings) and make sure to download the 64bit client from our download page and install it. If you still get the error message save the following block of text as a text file in the same location you installed TeamSpeak to, then change the file extension from .txt to .cmd and double click the file.
    Code:
    @echo OFF
    SET PATH=""
    ts3client_win64.exe

    3.0.9.2 x64 crashes on Win 8

    Hi Everyone,

    I've just updated my client to 3.0.9.2 , and now it cannot run. "The application couldn't start correctly (0xc0000142) Please click on OK button to close the application". I have windows 8 64 bit. The earlier version ran without any errors. I've tried with the compatibility helper, but no result. Please help me. Thanks.
    Cheers,
