    Solved Groups acces channels

    Hi

I know this issue has been posted so many times but I'm losing my mind with this permission problem and all the post about it.

    So to make simple :

Group A must have acces to the channel X
Group B must have acces to the channel Y
    but
Group A cannot acces to the channel Y
Group B cannot acces to the channel X

Is it really possible in TS3 ?

Yes it is, just create a single channel group give that channel group an i_channel_join_power of say 10, and then every restricted channel an i_channel_needed_join_power of 10.

Now you only got to assign people who should be allowed in Channel X the group inside channel X and the same with people that should access channel Y just that you assign the same group in the channel Y. Easy as pie.

And you shall be informed that this is not possible with server groups since as the name suggests they grant permissions on the entire server which means all channels.

One group would always be allowed to enter both channels if you were to use server groups.

Only "other way" would be using channel passwords.
Each group only know the passwords for their own channels.

Question How can I split my Teamspeak3 Server?

    Hello people,

I have a teamspeak3 server and want to share this.
I want to share in perhaps clan 1 and clan 2
so that the two can only be in their chennel.
maybe clan 1 can join only in clan 1 channel!
and clan 2 only in clan 2 channel not with password.

My english is not so good but i hope you can help me

    Wishes LuckyLUcky

This has already been answered many times.
You can use the search function, for example: http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...acces-channels
