    That sounds like the server has been updated to the 3.0.7PR2 that requires the client 3.0.10 beta. Details in this thread:

    Problably your server is 3.0.7-beta, and for this server you need client 3.0.10 also beta.

    Take a look here http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...-Client-3-0-10

    EDIT:
    Sorry, I didn't saw your answer, PotaBlava

    didn't work. however i might not be doing it correctly...

    went to C:\......ApplicationData\TeamSpeak 3

    created the .ini file using notepad then saved it with that extension in the ts3 folder.

    still got nothing....

    also tried this on my mac (OS X 10.8.2)

    You must go to TS3 installation folder, not ApplicationData.
    create or edit update.ini with this:
    Code:
    [Channel]
    beta=true
    Save it, and run update.exe

    where do i find this installation folder? the only thing i have remotely close to that is the installation executable...

    does it have anything to do with where i save my configuration file (user files or installation files)? thats one thing i wondered about when i was reinstalling..

    I guess you have a shortcut on the desktop.
    Right click on >> Properties >> ...look at the directory where the executable is ...
