Post Plugins in TS5 and current PluginSDK download

    a) Will the new TS5 client break existing plugins? Do existing plugins need to be ported to TS5? Will it have more options functions and features than the TS3 Plugin SDK?

    b) I was not able to find the Plugin SDK download in the TeamSpeak download page (Wasnt it there before?).
What happend? Why is it not there anymore? And where can I find it? Do I really need to register to download the PluginSDK?

Guess we didn't think about the plugin SDK on the downloads page. You can find things here:

... plugins will likely have to be re-created due to TeamSpeak 5 using a completely different UI framework.

And since they are planning to release the new plugin API AFTER the beta, you'll probably get the chance to request new features which you'd like to see there.

How would it be the plugin developers to participate in the closed beta? Updating the API on TS3 isn't that hard. For a new development at TS5 more time is needed, so it would be helpful to get to know the program.

Yeah, it would be beautiful if we have the opportunity to work with the SDK prior to a full release of TS5.
