    SRV Record Help

Can anybody help with my SRV record for my TS3 server? I have tried a few different SRV records and none of them will work so maybe I am doing something wrong.

    The IP is:
    HTML Code:
    85.236.1xxxx:12957
The domain I want to use it:
    HTML Code:
    ts.xxxxrepublic.com
    Thanks in advance.

    This should do the job:
    Code:
    _ts3._udp.ts.xxxxrepublic.com 86400 IN SRV 1 3 12957 85.236.1xxxx

You might want to check your zone file for its syntax or the interface where you entered the information.

I can't add it, the support staff do. I don't think they have added it yet.

It seems to me that there is no SRV-Record set. Performing a DNS-Request you'll get a NXDOMAIN.
That's the error when there is NO Record as the one you requestet.

So someone failed while creating your SRV-Record.

I'd say your SRV-Record is up and fine.
