Say I create a ban at 00:00 for 1 hour. If I then edit this ban at 00:30 for 45 minutes, it should expire at 00:45, not 01:15 (which it would after editing).
Otherwise, what's the point of editing ban time if you're essentially creating a new ban?

+1 for this, its defiantly an annoyance!
So how about fixing ban times?
I think this suggestion should be the default, then with an added GUI method of resetting the ban time from the current time if you want to set it from this point onwards.
That would be the optimal modification.
Would this be hard to change with the current implementation?
Three years later and this is still a pressing issue for servers that have to ban a lot.
