I cannot connect to my locally hosted TS3 Server anymore!

The server is hosted on my IP. I used to have zero trouble with it. I didn't use it for a month or so and now I cannot connect to it. The client keeps saying "failed to connect to server." Has anyone else experienced this? How do get back to using my server?

make sure the server is actually running, check the port forwardings in your router to make sure they are correct and still pointing to the correct local ip on which the server is running.
Also if you try and connect from within the same network you need to use the local IP instead of the public one.

I pinged the server. I checked the port forwarding. I tried to connect with a different IP number. I didn't change anything between when it was working and now. This is very frustrating.

Is it possible to recreate the server somehow?

As Chris already wrote, please check if the teamspeak server software is actually running. If it is not running currently, you also are not able to connect to it. If it is still running, please try to stop and start the process again.

Try to connect with the local IP address instead of the public one.

Also check the server logs or post them.
