Lightbulb [Suggestion] Musicbot for TeamSpeak server (not for the Client)

    Hello community!

That's a suggestion to all programmers - not just to the developer of the TeamSpeak team!

I'm searching a plugin or something else, which is available for the TeamSpeak server. It should work on a headless system and on a system with a GUI. A musicbot, which needs a client isn't a good musicbot, cause there must run a TeamSpeak Client with a GUI and maybe an extra computer - the TeamSpeak server and the musicbot are maybe running on different machines...

If somebody would programm it as a plugin of the server (not the client!), he could include a configuration management interface like a console on the TeamSpeak server, that the clients are able to choose the music.

For example, if you enter "/help" on the messaging line:
    - /musicbot start
    - /musicbot stop
    - /musicbot list songs
    - /musicbot start song.mp3
    .
    .
    .
A webinterface would also a nice feature, but therefore the user would need a webserver on this server, where the TeamSpeak server is running.

I hope somebody can programm something like that.

For further informations, just contact me.

There's -to my knowledge- neither such thing as a server plugin sdk/api, nor can we utilize the sdk to do a standalone that's compatible (let alone the work that'd require). Hence, I'm pretty sure there's nothing the plugin dev scene can do in this regard.

There already is a perlbot that can do that. It was made by somebody from shoutcast, which makes it possible with a shoutcast server to stream musik from a music library. or just virtualise a ts linux client with virtualbox f.e. and then let that one make the bot =)

There is no way to do that with the default ts3 server.

But with the client is possible, I have one.

Ah, okay. Where can I find this perlbot? Sounds interesting.

Yeah... A virtualbox is like a normal TeamSpeak Client, but the virtualbox needs extra ressources and not less... That's not good.

I know, that it is possible with a TeamSpeak Client, but that's not my target! Sorry...
