Just backup the entire folder where you installed TeamSpeak to and you are done. Make sure to stop the server before doing that though.

If you are using MySQL instead of the default SQLite then you'll also have to backup the MySQL database used by the TeamSpeak server.

Reinstall Root Server / What do i need to Backup?

    Hi all
i want to cleanup our complete Root Server (windows server 2008 r2), after the fresh installation there will be for first only a Teampseak 3 Server again.

Now my question before the cleanup is what do i need to backup that the TS3 Server will running like it was before

Do i need more to Backup then the "...\teamspeak3-server_win64" installation folder to set it up again with the same rights, structures etc. or do i neeed more files or informations to Backup?

    (We only use sqlitedb)

    Thanks in advance
    Atomares

    How to backup a server

    Hello TeamSpeakers!

I've a Server on my PC (without hosting it on a VPS). I'd like to know how to save everything of my server, so in case of any accident I could be able to backup everything (icons, channels, channels descriptions, permissions, more configurations...in short... EVERYTHING!)

Which are the files I should preserve?

I presume only this one: ts3server.sqlitedb

    Others?

    Thanks in advance!

    Stop the server
Copy ALL Teamspeak files / directories to a safe location (USB stick would be ideal)
    Start the server

You should follow Air SeaTac guide. It's true that most configuration and data is stored in the sqliedb, but not everything. Some basic configs like white-list, black-list and server.ini are not stored in the db. Also you won't find your icons and avatars in the database. So do as Air SeaTac told you to.
