    Question NSA Data Collection

In light of recent reports that the NSA is collecting pretty much every bit of data from Cellphones, emails, social networking, youtube, Skype, and pretty much everything else, most of which has been handed over by the companies that offer these services. I would like to know what teamspeaks policies are on this issue.

Is our information also being forfeited and handed over to the overreaching of the US Govt and the NSA? Are our conversation being recorded without our knowledge?

Are there backdoors that allow the powers that be and government agencies to actually listen on servers without us knowing?

Do hosting sites such as Gameservers and others offer such information up?

    Regards,
    A Teamspeak server leaser.

The server does not record any transmissions be it voice or chat. If configured to do so, it does log the time when you connect and disconnect including your IP address.
We (TeamSpeak) do not have any control over or access to any TeamSpeak server (except those run by ourselves of course).

Does the ability exist to log onto a teamspeak server anonymously without anyone knowing, not showing up in the users list, and listen in on conversations. Is TeamSpeak completely eavesdropping proof from outside parties?

As far as I know there is currently no possibility to do so.

Well, the whole voice-stream (udp-packets) can be accessed by any device it passes on its way from your end, through the server to the other users unless you use encryption.

I've got another thread started querying the encryption and looking for some technical details.
