Being Forced Into Push-to-Talk; Can't Disable

I am suddenly being forced into push-to-talk mode when I log on and I cannot disable it. I set things to voice activation in the options, but I can't get out of push-to-talk. Can someone help me disable this?

when you're the owner of the ts3 you can change that for sure.
First you need to activate the "expert permission system".

Just go to the permissions of your server groups and remove this permission with rightclick on it.

    Hi Cyberwolf,

Thanks for the response. I'm not the owner of the server in this case. I'm using SimHQ, so it seems they must have set this globally for their users. I'll see if I can contact them.

    Thanks again,

The problem with voice activation is that if there's a number of people in a room it can get very noisy, especially if one user has a TV running or kids running about screaming.

That's probably why they insist on PTT (we wouldn't have it any other way on our server)
