    Auto connect to TS3 server from website, with nickname.

    Hi,

    I want it to be able for the users on my website to connect to my ts3 server. I use a link like this for that:
    ts3server://IPADDRESS/?port=PORT

    I would then like that the users will have to choose their username when they are logged in to the ts3 server. Is that even possible? Or do I have to make a pop-up messege that tells them to change their username?

    The best thing would be that when they connect they automatically get the same username as they use on my website, but my guess is that this is not possible?

    Looks doable so far.

    Well, yes. But this will just set a standard username for them all, right? Everyone connecting here will have the nickname: UserNickname .

    Ofc you'll need to construct the link dynamically using whatever language you're using on your site.
    Assuming php, which is not really my expertise it'd be sth. like
    <?php
    $url_ts = 'ts3server://ts3.hoster.com?port=9987&nickname='.$UserNickname
    Echo '<a href=$url_ts>Click</a>'
    ?>
    whereas the variable name (or getter function) from your site needs to be recherched.
    Not sure if that's correct quick'n'dirty php as I don't tend to have contact with it, maybe some webguru wants to elaborate.

    Well, this is my forst website, so I aint that good at coding. But when I look at the template html, it takes userinfo like this:

    {$this->memberData['member_id']}

    And my url looks like this:

    ts3server://ts.fpsnorge.com?port=9989

    But this wont work:

    ts3server://ts.fpsnorge.com?port=9989&nickname={$this->memberData['member_id']}

    Please try:
    $nick = {$this->memberData['member_id']};
    $tsurl = "ts3server://ts.fpsnorge.com?port=9989&nickname=".$nick;
    echo $tsurl;
