upgrade doesn't seem to change version.

I stopped my server and unzipped the contents of
    teamspeak3-server_linux-amd64-3.0.7.2.tar

but my server still reads 3.0.6.1 after I restart it any ideas??

The executeable was probably not writeable so tar didn't overwrite the old with the new. Have you checked that?

Also possible you extracted to a differend path. Keep in mind that tar includes paths. If you extract the tar file inside your ts directory it will create a new ts directory inside your old ts directory.
