My Hotkeys Will not Work at All

I can go into my settings and choose to pick a hotkey and i can keep pressing buttons but it will not acknowledge that im pressing any button on my keyboard. So after about 4 months i found a solution of assigning my X key as a mouse button and my extra mouse button as X (My mouse is a Razor Mamba 2013). But this solution has many downsides as if i want to type x i have to press the mouse key and if i use my hotkey it acts as the back button in any browser. So i tried starting TS3 as administrator and it registers my keys! I got so exited after half a year this problem is resolved. But then i try using my hotkey and it does not work... I finally have it assigned as a push to talk but now when i press this key my mic does not queue. To put another bug on top of that whenever I start up my TS3 client with my new assigned key is has an error saying i have to change my hotkey no matter what key it is because as of the latest patch in TS3.

Can you help us with some more information?

Is another another application or game running, when your hotkeys do not work without admin mode?
This could happen when a game starts in admin mode (most mmorpg or WOT as an example). This is nothing we an change.

What operation system do you use?

What hotkey system do you use and have you tried so far?

What Mouse and Keyboard do you use and do you use a special driver or program for that devices?

I am having the same issue on a Razer Black Widow Ultimate keyboard. It will not recognize ANY key that I press on my keyboard (trying to assign a PTT key, because Right Ctrl wouldn't work...obviously). I am using Windows 7 and trying to use TS3 in conjunction with ArmA series games (and the ACRE mod). With my old stock keyboard it was never an issue. I think gaming keyboards with Macros are the issue. I am seeing a lot of people have these issues when trying to use a gaming keyboard even if it has nothing to do with a Macro key or not. I really need a solution to this issue. Can anybody help me????

Yea, I don't understand this problem. It started with the 3.0.12 patch for me. No button at all is recognized on my keyboard. All the buttons on my mouse are. The strange thing about this problem is it will let you assign a hotkey from your keyboard if you go into settings BEFORE you connect to a server. It recognized the keyboard input. However after you connect to a server it goes back to not recognizing any king of keyboards input. THIS IS JUST IN THE SETTINGS>OPTIONS>CAPTURE SCREEN. I can type just fine in channels. Even if you set the hotkey before you connect to a server, once you connect it wont work.

What happen with client 3.0.13 here?
Client 3.0.12 did change any hotkey setting from Direct Input to "Default" and client 3.0.13 does not support Direct Input any longer.

Same issue. Also an Arma player. Hadn't updated in quite a while as if I had expected it not to work anymore afterwards. Then skipped a few versions and went straight to v3.0.13.1.

What happens is that while on any server, hotkeys don't work. Going into preferences and setting hotkeys doesn't work either as the program won't accept any keyboard keys, only mouse keys and the Escape key for exiting the hotkey prompt. Assigning and using hotkeys works while not on a server.

This doesn't seem to be related to profiles as first of all, it has worked before the update and secondly, I have already checked if any of my profiles have been changed. The Standard profile is checked and works when not on a server. I have made sure that the profile is also checked in the server favorites browser.

Input settings are default and "mouse & keyboard". Neither one changes the situation. Started as admin. Also, is not related to the game as it won't work when the game is off either.

Ask away if you know what info you need. I don't know what would be required. I'd only ask for a link to an older version which still works, supported or not. I need voice in my game and hotkeys to control it. Cheers.

My PTT hotkey stopped working months ago, i've asked for help and haven't received any. I play CoD, my hotkey will work fine for 20-30 minutes and all of a sudden quits working. I never had any problems before the last TS update, i've tried going in to options changing between Keyboard and Mouse, to default back and forth, tried running as administrator nothing works. All I ever see Team Speak Team reply with is "We still need some informations here to fix the problem. So please, help us here" Um no WE need the information to fix it, what more info do you guys need? I have a Logitech headset, Razer Taipan mouse, and stock HP keyboard.

Yeah I have Noticed this issue when enabling the ACRE plugin for teamspeak version 3.013.1.

It happens once you enable the ACRE plugin you can not use any of the keyboard hotkeys you have assigned if you are using push-to-talk and you only can use none keyboard hotkeys so like for example mouse button 5 ect there the only ones you can use when the ACRE plugin is enabled and the blue light of your transmitting light will also not show up.

But I found out if you enable the plugin once you have done that, take out your mic and put it back in again then try your keyboard push-to-talk keys then it should work, well that what happened to me but its a pain when switching from the channel I use for the Radio back to a normal channel as I have to take the mic out again and put it back in.


Notes:
At the time I may found a fix I ran Teamspeak 3 Client as administrator, but that should be used when you want to use ACRE Radio.
I changed changed from "Default" to "mouse and keyboard only" (this can be located in "hotkeys" in options)
