Volume control and volume reduction

Hey guys,

I just upgraded my XFi to a ASUS Xonar DX and everything works fine except for two things with Teamspeak 3. I am a huge fan of the volume control plugin and I also use the "Reduce the volume of other sounds by 80%" option of windows.

Now both of these don't seem to work anymore somehow. Since I used the driver CD which came with the soundcard I just updated and it seemed to work again, and then again - did not work.

I would provide some information or specs or anything that is needed, but I have no idea what the problem is. So therefore I don't even know if I should've posted this here or somewhere with ASUS Support :/

Did that, like I said. First it worked, then after staring up some game it went poof, no volume reduction anymore.
