    Startup script

I've been using an outdated autorestart script that probably isnt working correctly anymore.
Is there any .sh script that will do the following :

    start|stop|restart|status

I want to run it with crontab. Start on server reboot, check every minute with 'status' if the server is running so that if not 'start' would be ran.

    Using Centos 5 32-bit
    -Thanks

I have crontab to start ts on boot and to start it every 15 minutes. There is no need to check if it's running and start if its not, just start the server. If its already running you get a msg saying its running.
