Can't start server as not-root user

I just installed my new vServer with Ubuntu 12.0.
But now i can't start/stop the server with other users. Only with root user.

i already did chmod and chown to give the user "teamspeak" permissions.

When i start the server via "./ts3server_startscript.sh start" it says that the server started, but i can't connect on it.
Only when i start it as root i can join...

    Can somebody help me?

!!! I figured it out. I made a mistake with the permissions.
    This thread can be closed.

    Solution:
    chown -R teamspeak:teamspeak /home/teamspeak
    chmod +x /home/teamspeak/ts3server_startscript.sh
