    Exclamation Can't connect to a friends server.

    Hi guys, A buddy and I have a server and its been fine until about a week ago, where anybody else can connect, but I cannot. Have searched for hours trying to find the solution. Tried to forward ports (don't know if I did it right or not), and to no avail, nothing. Still can't connect. Can somebody give me any ideas here?

    You are not the only one, I can NOT connect either.

    Are you really sure that IP and Port are the correct ones?

    yeah, he says that is the one, and it will say there are clients in it when our group gets together.

    Ah, well. I have had no luck yet. So I have given up. I'll see if I can get his client log.

    I'm also getting this error.

    I think you have configured a firewall, which isn't configured correctly. You should deactivate it complety and test it again. Because I've checked the status of this server. The port is open and reachable, but it's also filtered.

    I couldn't connect, went on a vacation for a week. Came back still couldn't connect.

    I turned windows firewall completely off. Still received the same error.

    Try getting the client log of somebody who can connect to the server...
    maybe the final address you are using to connect differs from his.
