Looking for a specific plugin, any help?

    Hello,

I am not sure if something like this is possible and which is why I am here today asking.

Is it possible for a plugin that can stream movies?

So example, I have a movie on my computer, or booted to a disk and then create a special channel, where I can stream it with sound and video to friends who are in the group, so we can have like a movie night.

A great idea I think, when friends far away and kinda building a better friendship you know.

I hope something like this is around, if so I am happy to download it.
I am not sure if it can be done, but I hope it is possible or maybe there is software but still prefer some sort of link to TS

    Kind Regards,

    Menphues2010

Eppp, TeamSpeak is only voice, no video at all.

Streams can be created with VLC. However, you will most likely need a relay server because your internet connection is not enough for all the people to watch. You can create a relay server with CVLC.

Example for the local DVD stream server when having 1 Mbit/s upstream (everything below makes no sense) and forwarding TCP 8080:
    Code:
    vlc dvdsimple:///F:/ --sout=#transcode{venc=x264{vbv-maxrate=768,vbv-bufsize=768,qcomp=0,ratetol=0},vcodec=h264,vb=768,scale=1,deinterlace,fps=25,acodec=mp3,ab=96,channels=2,samplerate=44100}:http{mux=ts,dst=:8080/} --sout-keep
    F is the drive letter
Each 768 refers to the video CBR.

After that, run the following on your internet root server:
    Code:
    cvlc -vvv http://{YOUR LOCAL IP}:8080/ --sout '#standard{access=http,mux=ts,dst=:8080}' --network-caching=5000
This will create an HTTP stream on your server's port 8080 that can be received with VLC and sometimes also WMP.
Do not do this with commercial movies. This is only for showing your holiday movies to your friends.

If you have any questions, JUST DON'T DO IT. This forum is for TS-related questions.
