Created new server group - it can't access channels

    Hello.

I created a group called Stały Bywalec. It's a group that should access all rooms with power 75. Here are the permissions I gave this group:

And it can't access the room Valar Morghulis - this room have this permissions:

As I understand I done everything right but I can't access such rooms becouse I get this error:

Probably the permissions are overridden by channel group permissions, grant b_group_skip_channel_permissions (not sure that's the exact name) or just check skip for I_Channel_join_power for your group.

The latter is better, the single skip of permissions.
If you grant the "Big-Skip-Permission" no permission on channel and channelgroup layer will be used.
    (i. e. they can also enter channels with join_power > 75)

There is nothing like that in channel group permissions like skip etc.

Both is an option of the server group. With the first flag "b_client_skip_channelgroup_permissions" everybody with this server group isn't affected by any channel group. This an option which should not be active on "normal" server groups, only the admin's group usually has this flag.

The other flag mentions is the skip field of the "i_channel_join_power", activating this skip flag will ensure that no channel group overwrites this value. Channel groups normaly do overwrite a server group.

I found skip flag. It helped and it works now

I'll check activating channel_join_power with skip.

I wonder still why it not worked before

It didn't work before because channel groups permission overwrite server group permissions on default. If not specified otherwise every user inside a channel or trying to join a channel is evaluated as member of the channel group "guest", and this channel group most probably did not have enough join power.
