TS3 causing headset to become stop working

So, it seems recently TS3 has started to cause my headset to stop working. At first I thought it was the old sound card I was using, but after removing it today the problem got worse. I use a usb headset now and the headset stops working after a minute or two being connected to a TS3 server. If I was talking the light for my mic will be lit up and if others were talking or begin to talk their lit up, but all of them stay lit up. They never turn off and any other sound going through my headset stops working too. If I close out TS3 it will start working again. This means to me there is something going on with TS3 causing this issue. I have tried both TS3 32 bit and 64 bit for my Windows 7 home 64 bit OS. This problem start only a month or two ago, and got worse when I went to a usb headset instead of using the spare sound card I just took out.

Could you be so kind to give us more details about your system and settings?

Always for clients (and please report as much as you can!):
    • What client version is running?
    • Client log?
    • What soundcard and headset do you use?
    • What operation system is running?
    • Did it work before?
    • What have you tried?
Do you use PTT or voice activation and have you tried both?

I use voice activation and don't see how push to talk would fix this.

i am just asking about the input mode. nothing more.

Your client log does not say anything wrong here. You just did start the client.
Please Use the client as normal and when it happens again, then past the log content.

Ok here you go. It wouldn't work as soon as I logged into the server. I did a few things that sometimes clears it up and then it quit a a minute or two later.

OK quick update I found that having two capture and playback profiles will temp clear this problem. ( I think reapplying the chosen options is why this works.) The problem is it stops working quicker the more I use it. Also I have start to see an actual error in the Client log that may help. I hope this can be resolved soon. As you can see the error reports multiple times over in under a minute.

Guess the only option is to switch from a Teamspeak back to a Vent server. 3 days now of not being able to talk with anyone.

-What ts3 version worked for you (which version did not have these issues)?
-What changed right before you started having these issues? Updated ts3?

We still can not say why this is happening.

Could you test something for us, while your hotkeys are deactivated?
We offer command line parameters for such tests.
    Code:
    -nohotkeys
    This parameter deactivates hotkey system
    How to:
    1. Make a right-klick on your client chortcut
    2. Choose Properties
    3. Now add this to the target " -nohotkeys"
Do not add " but use a space in form of that - (check my screenshot)
    4. Press apply
    5. Start the client and please use voice activation (your hotkeys won't work)

Hi! im using teamspeak every day since 6 month now, and I learned that it will often have some randoms issues or weird things hppening, like some room will put some static in my mic when im talking and others wont... Or sometimes people cant talk after 5 minutes and others will lose their connection every 30 seconds. It looks like after a fresh defrag + CCleaner scan and a reinstall, my friend were able to talk a lot longer... I also tested the nohotkey thing you wanted us to try and it didnt worked at all.

After 2 months, I found a weird way to fix it that seems to work pretty well. I captured the installation on my pc with cameyo to virtualize the environment on my pc and make it portable. I sent em this package and it automatically solved their problem, because this package is totally isolated from the rest of their computer.

I only tested it twice but it looks very promising. i give you the link from my dropbox just in case... https://db.tt/kGWAdB2p
