Moving a teamspeak server to an other vps is a kind of magic. You need to dance around the old and the new server in a perfect circle while chanting: "transfer server, server transfer..." (repeat at least sixty times). Burning incense is also recommended. It is important, that both vps are in close proximity, remember you need to be able to dance around them both in a perfect circle. After doing that the most crucial part is done.

After that you might want to check if on the new vps the dns name "accounting.teamspeak.com" is resolveable and the firewall needs to let tcp traffic on port 2008 pass in and out bound.

Why are you insisting on running such an old version?

He thinks that licenses are issued for a specific version, but that's stupid.

Your customers? This sounds like you are using your servers for others and not for your own.

What has changed adding or removing users from a group?

    Please update your server first
We can not give support for outdated versions. Many bugs have been fixed meanwhile.
