    Connection to Server Lost

    Hey,

Ever since I have downloaded TS3 I have had trouble with my connection. I find whenever there is say more than five people in my channel my TS3 drops out often and then it fails to connect again. I have to close the program and then try again.

    <12:25:38> Connection to server lost
<12:25:39> Trying to resolve hostname ts35.gameservers.com
<12:25:40> Trying to connect to server on ts35.gameservers.com:9109
<12:25:46> Failed to connect to server
<12:25:47> Trying to resolve hostname ts35.gameservers.com
<12:25:49> Trying to connect to server on ts35.gameservers.com:9109
<12:25:56> Failed to connect to server

    I have windows 7 64bit OS, I7 processor, 16gb RAM, I have an SSD and 1TB HD.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling on the SSD and the HD. I have tried deleting my caches.

I tend to have a ping of 300ms and quality of 62%, is that the problem? If so how can I improve that?

My max download and upload speed is 16333/1015kbps from Mackay, Australia.

I have also had this problem on 3 different servers.

Please do one of common steps like:
    - check and tell us how you are connected to the internet(who is your provider)
    - vendor, and model of your modem/router if you use one to connect to the internet

and obviously if you can, before sending look into your modem/router configuration check logs(clear them, use teamspeak, it drops you check logs again). and look for possibly common troublemaker like DDoS protection on that device...

Ok, I have phoned my provider, I am with iinet with a boblite 1300 modem connected over ethernet. How do I check the logs? and iinet said there is no DDoS on my modem.

    Does that help?

There was a thread with a Boblite modem and iinet as ISP and the solution was in post#38, this post:

Potblava, thanks for the link. I have the updated firmware now on my modem/router but teamspeak still drops out when there is more than 5 people in the channel.

With modern ethernet cards, occasionally it helps to disable "UDP Checksum Offload". On Windows this can be found in the device manager, properties of the network adapter under the advanced tab.

Pot, I did both of those and it still drops out but I do think it improved it. Perhaps that is only the placebo effect.

Hi. Mr. Google shows me this page:
    http://www.iinet.net.au/hardware/bob/manuals/
and there is the Bob Lite Manual
    http://www.iinet.net.au/iiattachlink?id=51057

and in page 6 it's said:
    Code:
    SPI Firewall
BoB Lite™ is equipped with a firewall that protects your network from a wide array of common hacker attacks.
Can you try to deactivate this SPI Firewall? I couldn't find the information in that manual.

The connection still drops out with the firewall disabled.

Well, this thread reported a similar case
    http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...hlight=traffic
--> He says he resolved the issue changing the ethernet card... but no more information

In this other thread, we fought "against" the ethernet card (an Intel (R) PRO/1000 MT) but we lost:

What model of ethernet card you have?
