And I can only imagine it is something very simple to fix , and btw I am running windows Xp and had been running teamspeak on Windows Xp for several years with no problems until Today.

As I described earlier, the error is caused because your CPU doesn't support the SSE2 instruction set that is somehow required by the new client release. This has nothing to do with Windows XP beeing too old (the CPU in fact is). I fully agree with Screech tho... people should use an OS that's still beeing maintained by M$.

My guess is that the new SSE2 requirement snuck in there by mistake with the build system updates the devs described here... as the the System Requirements page has not been updated before/with the release (seems to be reviewed now) and it's not mentioned in the release thread, news or changelog.

Anyways... I'd suggest that anyone getting this error should downgrade to 3.0.13.1 for now and wait for the next client pre-release that will hopefully fix this error for people with older CPUs.

The system requirements for client and server will get an overhaul and we are not sure yet if SSE2 stays in our client software.

That would need one of these CPUs as a minimum:
Intel Pentium4 or AMD Athlon 64 (or VIA C7)

Yeah, understand it is a processor feature missing issue. But so far almost every report (quickly scanning this thread) is from XP, maybe the reason they are still running XP is that the hardware didn't work well with Vista or 7. So if their hardware is not ideal for a newer OS hardware would likely get updated to a processor supporting SSE2 too.

The current client (3.0.14 / 3.0.15 beta) must use a CPU with SSE2 support.
Your Athlon XP has no such feature.

Please use client 3.0.13.1 until we give any new feedback about a soloution or decision.

Can't update to any client of 3.0.14,3.0.15.1 and 3.0.16

Well, like I said, I have to use version 3.0.13 of TS3 client on Windows. Got some cracked Win XP SP3. I' ve installed MS .net framework 3.5 SP1, but same happens. When I install versions 3.0.14; 3.0.15 or 3.0.16, got the same. Error on startup. What I can do? And, How I can have the Non-Profit Licence for my TS3,if I do not have static IP? Regardly, Jovan.
